Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – High Spring and the Light Rings: Guide & Tips

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – High Spring and the Light Rings

„The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – High Spring and the Light Rings“ is a shrine quest that can be completed in the Lanayru region. You will meet someone who gives you a clue, and you will need to take to the skies. Here is our guide to help you complete High Spring and the Light Rings as well as the Zakusu Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Starting Point of the Quest

To get the quest „Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – High Spring and the Light Rings,“ you need to head to the snowy path that leads to Mount Lanaryu Skyview Tower. The hike is dangerous, so be sure to have several spicy dishes on pepper basis with you. Near the summit, you will meet an NPC named Nazbi. He tells you about a puzzle involving a feather and some light rings.

Puzzle and Time Trial

The puzzle is as follows: Glide over the snow, from high spring in the sky to the mountain below. Pass through the light rings to see the light of blessing. The source refers to where you are now, the source of wisdom. However, to reach the high sky, you must jump off Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower and start. Look slightly southeast in the air, and you should see a key-shaped floating island. After landing, you can start a time trial. An automatic save will be triggered, so just reload it for mistakes (you don’t want to start again every time).

For the „Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – High Spring and the Light Rings“ test, you must go down through the green rings from the starting point to the mountain pass below. As speed is required here, we recommend Shield Surfing: Hold down the ZL button in the air and then press A.

Location of the Time Trial

Zakusu Shrine: Test of Strength – Ascension. You should be able to snowboard to the end. Once you get there, a crystal forms the Zakusu Shrine, which has its own challenge: Test of Strength – Ascension. Link will not wear armor, but you can bring various weapons. The goal here is to get to the back of the ground level and then rise up with the hot air balloon. From there, you will find various tools, such as Spiked Balls and Flame Emitters. We recommend using the Ultra Hand to pick up the Flame Emitters so you can light the construct enemies on fire. The constant fire stream will prevent them from attacking you. Once you defeat the enemies above, simply clear out the rest below.
